By this point i was biting my finger nails off. I bet two hundred buckaroos. I hit with an a five and a Lancelot to the dealer's Five Spot. The dealer flipped the down card and it was an One-Eyed King. The dealer hit on a 9 for a total of 15 and busted. So i was up 145 bucks now. By now i'm riveted to my computer. I put down 146 smackaroos. My hand was a white skin and a Curse of Scotland and the dealer had Dewey, so i stood. The dealer's other card was an One Legged Ace. The dealer hit for a 2 and i won. By this time i thought i was going to die. I bet just about seven green of ammo. I received a 4 and a Sax and the dealer's up card was Crab, so i hit. The dealer flipped over the face down card, and it was a Monarch. The dealer hit on a 7 for a total of 13 and lost. Like Seneca says: "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity". Well well! I had made some bucks today and i must admit, that i was feeling great, as well time to lay on laurel leaves.

great thread! Yesterday, while i was playing the table at Cantor Casino i was dealt a Bullet and a Sergeant to a dealer's hand of Niner, so i doubled. The dealer's down card was a Death Card. The dealer folded and lost and was busted. Did i screw up?
